you tell it was a long day, because my dress is thoroughly wrinkled and I had to use the flash.
also, enjoy the gardening paraphernalia in the background. We are regular farmers over here!
I’ve been looking for headbands as a way to switch up hair-dos without taking a ton of time in the morning, but I still haven’t found the perfect one. This bow headband from H&M is still cute though!

I was not ready for this time change; I have to change my strategy and location for my photos now that the sun is directly in my eyes at 5:30pm.
Loving this color block cardigan - it’s not too heavy, and had just the right amount of drape in the front.
top: Target
cardigan: Apt 9 from Kohls
pants: The Limited
patent pumps: Target (similar)

I have relatively normal length legs (and a short torso), but for some reason looking at these photos, I’m think the pants (or the heels?) make my legs look stumpy. I always thought nude heels and cropped pants are supposed to make you look 10 feet tall. (they kind of did here: http://lattestyle.tumblr.com/post/7506369243/feeling-european)
have i been deceiving myself?
top: Kohls
sweater: J.Crew
pants: thrifted, Gap
shoes: Target
scarf: thrifted

I sought shelter for these photos under our back laundry canopy (yes, our washer and dryer are outdoors, rain or shine). The lighting turned out weird, and I didn’t really like this outfit, but I wore it.
I know the lip color looks somewhat non-existant but it looked cute - matched the peach color at the very top of the dress. Maybelline’s Baby Lips in Peach Kiss by (C/O BzzAgent)

If you follow me on Latte Love, you may have seen my announcement today about the launch of Blogger Map Project. It’s a map to connect bloggers all over the world. You can read more about it in my post here: http://www.latteloveblog.com/2011/12/400-posts-blogger-map.html
I hope you’ll consider joining. (Another great resource for blogger locations is Rose A La Mode’s Style Blogger Map.)
Now, on to the important stuff - my clothes. And an unintentional reveal of half of my living room.
E reluctantly kindly agreed to take the past few days of outfit photos in our living room because of the early sun set and my lateness in the morning.
If you would, please ignore the photo of the Rialto Square bridge in Venice. That photo has been leaning against the wall un-hung for over two years because I can’t decide if I like it or not or whether to put it 6 or 12 inches above the mantle. My life is full of difficult decisions and hanging the Rialto Square Bridge is one of the hardest.
wearing:
dress: Target (last week)
necklace: Target (two years ago)
tights: Target (last winter)
pumps: Target (last month)
I am obsessed with the dress. E was going to get me the orange one for Christmas and then they were all sold out. I was pitying myself reading the reviews for the dress and I realized that based onthe review, an XS might fit me better. Then I realized that this blue shade was the only XS color left so I immediately ordered it for myself and then told E what he bought me. Merry Christmas!
As far as sizing for this goes - I normally wear a S/4 at Target and most other places. I am slightly pear-shaped. Happily the fit of this dress is slightly more generous around the hips and I’m so glad I got an XS.

An old sundress (Old Navy), a newly repaired necklace (thanks gramps!), thrifted oversized blazer (Kenneth Cole), and new nude pumps (Target).
the curly hair and the sunshine of two weeks ago is making me smile in cold, cloudy Washington this week.

I’m still two weeks behind on these posts. Pretend that I’m not. I have lots of pictures waiting in the queue, so hopefully this one will get me motivated to get more up very soon! Traveling is a lot more wearing on my than i anticipated and lately it feels like packing is my new job. (as is early morning squinting)
this dress (from Target here) is something I’ve been wanting for a while. It’s a dream. Versatile, cute, work-appropriate and endlessly remixable. You’ll be seeing her again. (shoes from Target as well)
I was going to crop out the farm equipment on the side - but then it looked kind of rustic. I was also apparently also to lazy to put my necklace straight before taking these pictures. But I’ll distract you with my mighty calves.
