This might be a little bit of a cheat for the challenge: (find something in your repair file, fix it and wear it). But when I purchased these cropped pants from the thrift store, I didn’t realize they were just shortened regular pants.

Once I figured that out, I decided to just let out the hem and wear them as pants. [here they are cropped]

(ps. This shirt was a redo from  a few weeks ago, I took in this shirt because the arms were too big and awkward.)

I wore this on one of my longest days at work where I need to be comfortable and put together all day. These shoes weren’t quite so cooperative.

We have a roommate. I don’t think I have mentioned this before, but a classmate and friend of E’s lives in our garage (it’s not as bad as it sounds!)

Anywho, usually I try to take photos in the morning before work with a step ladder and my point and shoot Canon on a timer, after they’ve left for school.

But this past week was finals week for the boys so they stayed home studying until the last minute, and I spent 5 minutes every morning terrified that he would come out of his ‘room’ and see me smiling and posing at a step ladder.

Thus, awkward rushed photos.

here’s something plain and comfy I wore last week. I love the color of this top—it’s just about the only pink-ish hue I can handle. It’s Banana Republic organic cotton and it’s SO soft. Thank you thrift store for offering a $3 shirt I love. [It’s the only item I forgot to include in this post]

I love wearing these sandals, but hate them when i see them in pictures. I think its because I prefer to see myself in heels instead of flats. Do you think they make me look awkward? (be honest)
