you tell it was a long day, because my dress is thoroughly wrinkled and I had to use the flash.
also, enjoy the gardening paraphernalia in the background. We are regular farmers over here!
I’ve been looking for headbands as a way to switch up hair-dos without taking a ton of time in the morning, but I still haven’t found the perfect one. This bow headband from H&M is still cute though!

This dress is by far my most versatile, comfortable and perfect for all occasions. I had a big event at work this week and this was the first thing I grabbed - the thick jersey, huge pockets and perfect hemline.
The shoes are new - one of a few things I purchased recently with my portion of peach money from our tax return. Pastel color blocking is my thing for spring.
dress: Target (Mossimo elbow-sleeve ponte dress, very sadly sold out)

I thought about wearing whites today, but I’m saving that for another day in the challenge (neutrals with a pop of color). Having a real life photographer for the past 4 outfit posts has made me lazy and these pictures turned out pretty terribly as I was running late.
This was the first day in the challenge that I told myself I needed to look up the challenge the night before and lay something out. This isn’t my most ingenious ensemble, and I kind of feel ‘blah’ about it.

I guess I should have contrasted my neutral outfit with a more colorful background.
I also have realized that I cannot pull off a straight face for these photos. I look weird doing anything but smiling. But smiling in every pic feels boring.

What is going on with my hand here? Someone please come save me from myself.

We have a roommate. I don’t think I have mentioned this before, but a classmate and friend of E’s lives in our garage (it’s not as bad as it sounds!)

Anywho, usually I try to take photos in the morning before work with a step ladder and my point and shoot Canon on a timer, after they’ve left for school.

But this past week was finals week for the boys so they stayed home studying until the last minute, and I spent 5 minutes every morning terrified that he would come out of his ‘room’ and see me smiling and posing at a step ladder.

Thus, awkward rushed photos.
